Do you think God will forgive them for changing scripture in the bible, and turning the believers onto the wrong path.

They will be cast alive into the Lake of Fire.

They will go directly to the Lake of Fire.

They will not pass Go.

They will not collect $200.00.

The character of God demands that those pay for their actions.

It's up to God what He does with ALL who mislead in the wrong direction....
God might bring some into the true knowledge of Himself and bring about repentance. Only God can change the heart.
Leaders do have a responsibility to seek God in order to lead their flock in the truth - and i know there are scripture references somewhere.

Gosh, you asked a good one and one that I think that others should Know the truth about and accord int to the JWs, we are all damned anyways if we do not believe in their ways. Which is lie so don't anyone even listen to that crap from them
I believe that if we don't follow what is twisted and mutated we are all going to heaven unless by our own words or actions that is not a choice an adult wants then I do believe it is Hell bound for them as they made that choice, not God for them. I know that all children are protected by the blood of Christ to age 18 and then that person has the mentality of a good choice and are never sent to Hell for their parents point of view. I don't think that He likes it when anyone changes or mocks the Bible to cause harm to themselves or especially to anyone else. I cannot even count how many times I have been told I am condemned to Hell because I as an adult have made the choice to be Catholic or when I practice my Native American Religion that I slam the door in their face now. If you are not a JW than according to them everybody will find their butts in Hell. Well, I would rather be in my shoes at Judgment time than in theirs!!

Mind you, wouldn't it be amusing if one of the tiny little sects you're calling "cults" was actually right? And that the mainstream has been getting it wrong the whole time?

Actually, no, it wouldn't, but the point is that it could be and we'd never know about it. We have no obvious way to deduce correctness but our own minds and feelings (which are notably unreliable in this regard) in trying to interpret the world. Sure, we are given lots of information, but we have very limited feedback in determining its correctness, except in that which presents itself as yet more undeterminable information.

Humility, sirs and ladies, would do us all good when it comes to belief systems.

That's a really good question. Supposedly they believe in God, but it's a perversion and they do a lot of harm in the world.

I guess God will have to be the judge. I truly believe that the most important thing is what's in a person's heart.

Hopefully, since I believe there is a Heaven and a Hell, I would hope God would realize that even He cannot forget the crimes these people have done to the innocents. He forgives them; but he also makes them pay for the crimes that they committed. That is just me though. But think about it. Would you want to die and go to Heaven and you see Hitler and Eva up there, greeting you? After all that he has done. Would you call that Heaven? Think about that.

No way... they will all burn in a sulfuric fire in Hell for ever and ever for the eternal pleasure of our loving God the Lamb, the 144,000 virgin Jewish boys, Abraham, Lazarus and a whole bunch of Christians. We will be teasing them from Heaven. Maybe we will be showing a wet big finger for them to lick. I heard that water is scarce in Hell. Not even a rich man can buy a bottle of Dersai.

Luke 16:23-25 (NIV) And being in torments in Hell, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.

Revelation 14:10-11 "he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb* (*God the Son Jesus Christ and a few selected Christians/John 17:24). And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."

All of our sins have been pd for , its just a matter of the relationship these people have with God that really matters. No matter how others feel towards them, they have to give an account to God for their actions.

When you say cult, what do you mean. Brethren believe pretty much every church has changed scripture. Most mainstream protestants believe Roman Catholics have changed scripture. And a lot of main stream Christians believe the Brethren are bigoted, intolerant and paranoid? Which Christian CULT do you belong to?

I think that all the cult leaders will die, or have died. That's pretty much the end of that. In that regard, they are very much like all the plumbers, and all the dentists and all the plasterers and all the bakers, etc, etc.
