Very clever.
But, there may be a possible way out of this conundrum. His nose doesn't grow immediately, because what he said is true. It is "about to grow," just not immediately. After a short time he will probably tell a lie and his nose will grow. We assume that a nose that is smart enough to discern truth from falsehood is smart enough to know that Pinochio has a history of lying and will very likely soon lie again. The nose knows. There is only a problem if Pinocchio never again tells a lie, or we interpret "about to grow" as meaning in the next second or so.

haha idkkk.....according to hazard for the reason that he reported that it wouldnt be impossible kinda so then then it might yet then that making it the fact so it might decrease? and then it may be returned from the beggining being a lie returned so then it might improve returned and returned and returned like that then fairly quickly itll be changing so quickly his eyes will pass loopy attempting to observe hi nostril improve and decrease and improve and decrease then hed pass insane and be a pyscho maniac and then he might explode!!!!! yet nevertheless i by no skill did understand the paranormal strategies of pinnochio haha.
