So, if you're a Wiccan/Pagan, have you ever had some fundie start bashing you out of nowhere? Like say they say you wearing a pentacle.

Not really.

A few bad experiences in high school. One or two zealous young people becomming my friends only to invite me to a Christian function. When I went with them, but made no effort to accept Jesus as my pesonal savior, etc, they lost interest in me and never spoke to me again.

Otherwise not much. I got more than one compliment on my goddess pendant when I wore it.

I've been lucky enough to not have one bashing me directly to my face, but I do have a funny story.
I grew up in a tiny little town. The K-12 school only had 700 students. There were something like 7 churches in this little town, I still don't know how they supported them all. And was a bedroom community (mostly older residents).
My self and one other person, a friend, were Wiccan, he also happened to be gay. My friend and I were very open about being pagan. We were asked to paint a window for Halloween 1 year and made a big Samhain scene on it with Pagan Terms Like Wiccan, Happy Samhain, Blessed Be. Well needless to say they washed the window clean minutes after we painted it. And word got around town fast. After that the little old ladies would cross the street so they wouldn't have to walk on the same sidewalk as we were walking.
My parents still live in the town ( I moved out 9 years ago) and invariably still hear stories about my "cult" or my "coven" although I have always been a solitary.

I am a "fundie" as you call it, an informed one at that. I have to tell you though, not all "fundies" believe the pentacle is a satanic sign, in fact I know agnostics who have no clue what it represents and assume its satanic. In fact, alot of non-pagans dont know, not just Christians. Just some outside information you might normally not have received from this question. Gods peace.

i had some issue with it.
~in hs i had a few people harass me & spread rumors about me killing babies & drinking their blood. also beggin me not to turn them into a toad (i replied "too late! someone already beat me to it!). i was apparently part of a satanic cult as well.
~i was fired from a job (someone saw my "Spiral Dance" book sticking out of my bag--it's actually categorized as a women's studies book, btw)
~i was suspened from school (for reading the same book. funny how the bible was allowed)
~i went to a baptism (wait, there's more!) wearing my small pentacle (not very noticable, i forgot i even had it on) & parents clutched thier children to them & muttered things to them & made the sign of the cross (lol)
~i was told that i would burn in hell, and they have the matches to start the fire
~i was told after i actually tripped & fell into a campfire (ironic, huh? lol) & got 2nd degree burns on 15% of my body that i deserved it & that was my "glimpse" of hell & my chance to "change my ways"

man, fundies are great! lol...

i've got been using for 38 years and would aid you realize definite they're risky. i may additionally aid you realize definite maximum folk killed using are doing something stupid. The data are actual, human beings in autos for some reason do no longer see or nicely known motorcycles, mopeds, motorcycles etc. to the factor they could be sitting at a stop sign look top at you coming, and nevertheless pull out. Is it very well worth the possibility? definite that's, yet no longer with out understanding some issues first: continually assume they do no longer see you. by no potential experience in packs of autos if conceivable, yet on your man or woman. do no longer think of your stable some months into using and initiate rushing by site visitors. continually save the motorcycle in stable shape, stable tires, inflated wisely, brakes adjusted etc. do no longer experience a passenger on the returned of your motorcycle your first 3 hundred and sixty 5 days a minimum of. whilst ever going around a corner, continually assume theres sand or gravel and seek for it. i'd desire to bypass on constantly yet you will desire to get my factor. in spite of each thing my years of using, and possessing 17 motorcycles from airborne dirt and dirt motorcycles to 1100cc highway motorcycles I had one twist of destiny the place a woman as I pronounced till now pulled as much as a stop sign appeared top at me, then pulled out in front of me. i became into fortunate and in uncomplicated terms lost my motorcycle. bare in strategies that became into the only twist of destiny i could no longer circumvent, there have been many circumstances I prevented the twist of destiny. So i'm no longer attempting to scare you off, do exactly understand they're risky even with how stable or risk-free you experience. yet even with the reality this is there something in existence as exciting as a bike on the open highway thats no longer risky?

I had a student accuse me of working witchcraft against the class in college that I taught. The really bizarre part of it was that he described my "witchcraft" in detail, and it was just me talking normal about comparative religion.

He also accused the school of being deceptive by entitling my class Religion in America. He didn't expect for it to teach "all religions."

My cousin told me it was a phase and people who were witches were just kids whose parents didn't love them as a child.
Then he realized he meant his own aunt and uncle and he started back peddaling. It really was hilarious.
