scared, SCARED? are you kidding? look at all the evil going on around every where. people getting robbed and killed every day, my wife was robbed, her coin purse was stolen right out of her purse, the thieves grabbed her, went through her purse grabbed the money, and left...no one helped her, why? because of all the evil around that's why.
some times it just don´t pay to be good, how ever, it don´t feel good to be bad, so, yes, i am scared, too much evil in the air :(

I am not scared! That is a common misconception about my faith. I don't worry about heaven and hell. I do not need brownie points for my salvation. Jesus was my salvation. That is where I find my peace and JOY.
I live a normal life. I don't accost people on the streets and tell them they will go to hell. I love science, math..even though I am no good at it. I love computers and artificial intelligence. I love animals, and growing plants. The only thing I do fear is intolerance, ignorance and hate.

Who or what defines 'good'?
See, this is the problem. When left to human devices, atrocities are often justified as being 'good'. The Nazi's decided they were doing 'good' when they murdered over 11 million people in concentration camps. The Soviets under Stalin decided they were doing 'good' when they murdered between 40-60 million who were considered enemies of the state...and likewise the communist chinese who murdered between 70-100 million more for the same reason.
While you may argue that what they did is so obviously 'wrong' or 'evil', that is only applying your own standard.

Religious people are worried about heaven and hell because they understand that God has a standard of behavior that they are not living up to and they fear they are going to be judged by God based on how they lived their life here on earth.
People who trust in Jesus, on the other hand, are not scared about heaven and hell because we know that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins IN FULL on the cross. We don't have to wonder whether God will accept us or not - because we admit that we screwed up life royally and we need God to help us and teach us how to be better people.
There's nothing I can do to impress God - but God already loves me more than I realize and he adopted me into his family forever :)

I'm not scared. If I didn't believe in God and His Son Jesus Christ, then I'd have no choice but to be scared, because what else would there be? I have complete peace trusting in the Lord, my Loving Father.

Sometimes, when you can keep your head about you when all others seem to be panicked.... it simply means that you're not aware of the situation. Heaven and Hell are real. Just like gravity - you have the God given right to chose to ignore it - but it's still real and will affect you.

I am a Christian and I am not ever worried about either. A true Christian knows where THEY are going......they just want to take everyone with them...that is the reason we witness to non-believers.
