Of course not. Hell is a lie against God, if you believe in God, or even if you don't, and there is no wrong in homosexuality. Homosexuality should be a non issue.

Are you kidding? Do you really think that God is some old man peering into your bedroom windows at night? Only the three monotheistic religions trouble themselves about who people make love to. That is because they try to control people's behavior. How did Gay Marriage become more of a campaign issue than starting a war in Iraq under false pretenses? I think that people are judged on whether they hurt others intentionally or not. Belief in God alone is probably not enough, either. You must (your friend must) actively be a good person! In the end, I think it has been proven many times that sexual identity is something we are born with, and why would God punish his creation just for existing as it was created? I'm sure the wack-job, self-loathing religious nuts will say homosexuality is evil, blah, blah, blah, but ignore that! Any religion that says you'll go to hell if you don't do what we say or believe how we do is wacko. In the end, your friend will have to live with himself, and it doesn't matter what Y/A thinks! Encourage your friend to see the good in himself, and tell him that goodness has nothing to do with who you sleep with, so long as it is consentual and loving! Your friend must not judge himself by outdated, unproven theories made up by old, wealthy men who want to rule the world. Does he eat babies for breakfast and spit at old ladies? No? Then he's safe!

to just believe & trust God isn't enough for anyone. You have to give your life to God & do God's will, not your own. If he is going to continue to live a gay life then he is not living his life for God. Everyone sins. One sin is not worse than the other. Many people struggle with sin. If he is just going to give into being gay, then yes, he has decided not to live his life for God and he will go to hell.

I think it is because of all the bullying that goes on. the people that say how being gay is a bad thing makes gay and lesbian people think on the dark side of things and not he bright side such as when your thinking on the bright side it means you can be with who you want to be and how you want to live your life but when they think about it on like the dark side they think that if people in real life don't approve then god must not approve. now this is just my opinion because I'm only 14 and have no experience with this sort of stuff but i tried my best

Hell no. He Has a full right to belive in god even if homosexual. In fact, I'm athiest, But Belifes come from the heart, not choosing. So, I would say your friend is as okay as straight people are.

But if I we're an angelic christian, I would be saying,

He would be stoned to death!

I would say it depends. If your friend is living an unrepentant homosexual lifestyle then I would say he is in trouble. However you seem to indicate that he is struggling with being gay. He is trying to stop the sin and just can't. If that is the case then I would say he is a Christian struggling with sin. Have him read the 7th chapter of Romans. Especially the last verses where Paul talks about his struggles with sin. If you friend is trying to do his best, trying not to sin then I would say he is a Christian. If he says I am homosexual and I am going to have gay sex whenever I want and there is nothing wrong with it then I think he is in trouble.

Homosexuality is no worse than any other sin. We all struggle with sin. Your friend's struggle just happens to be with homosexuality. My advice would be to tell him to pray, refrain from sex (which is good advice to anyone who is not married), and live the best Christian life he can.

Does he believe that Jesus is the Messiah? That Jesus was sent to earth as the Son of God? Does he believe that Jesus is sinnless and died on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven? Does he believe that Jesus was resurrected 3 days later?

If yes to these, then no he won't.

Practicing homosexuality is a sin, but so are other things like adultery, murder, lying, stealing, blasphemy, immorality...the list goes on. We all have our weakness in sins, and after (emphasis on after) we are saved, we are called to give them up (Romans 6). But even then, sinning after you are saved/born-again will not remove salvation from you. A person is saved by faith and God's grace!

If he wakes up, prays for forgiveness of being gay and tries hard and prays for it, he can fight it and will go to Heaven. If he refuses to even TRY to fight it, yes he will go to Hell. Here's a bible verse for you: 1 Corinthians 6:9: Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals.

Tell him in love, if he does not pray to the God of Mercy and Judgement and beg for forgiveness and say he will repent and try to stop being gay and begs God to help him on a daily basis, yes he will go to Heaven.

Homosexuals are Gods children. Any man that stands and says they will go to hell are evil & hateful because it is not their job to make that call. All these people who speak for God are bound to find some sort of consequence for the judgmental & hatefulness of their words.
Aren't we suppose to hate the sin but love the sinner?
Each person must account for their own sins and not one of us has not sinned.

no. the reason - because he accepts something that is in violation of the natural law of god's love. by our own free will we condemn ourselves to hell. the devil believes in god too and in his deception he thought himself mightier which lead to his disobedience to god; and where is he?

In order that he may have salvation, he needs to break away from that sin, repent and express sorrow for sin, go to confession regularly and reform his life before or during his last hour. a homosexual is not born, but made.

The bible says even the fallen angels (demons) believe in God - but will that stop them from going to hell because of it? The gospel of Jesus is given so that your friend may have the power to walk away from all sin, not just homosexuality.
