Ever since the Yankees lost to the Indians everyone is now cheering for the tribe! I mean have you Yankee fans no dignity in losing!? It just doesn't seem right, true fans stick to their team, even when they aren't playing. Does anyone agree with me here??

I meant to say "Why are fans rooting for other teams" but to me it seems the majority of people are joining the Indians! It has happened w/ the rockies and the sox. Are you people not loyal!?

Ok ok I get it!!! I guess I'm the only one who thinks you should sitck with your team no matter what, even if they aren't in the playoffs.

Everyone is probably hopping on the band-wagon because they just beat the Yankees. Since there are a lot of people who like the Yankees but hate the Red Sox who the Indians have to play next people are wanting the Red Sox to lose so they hop on the wagon and cheer for a new team. Sorry I hope that doesn't offend you since your name is #1 Boston fan. Anyway there you have it.

Yeah, it's annoying. I am a die-hard White Sox fan and was so annoyed when all of these fans jumped onto our bandwagon in 2006. We had a huge attendance rate in 06 and at the end of 07, only the true fans show up. In the ALCS, I would rather have the Indians make the World Series than the Red Sox. But if you live in Ohio and the Tribe win it all, watch out for next year. It will be packed with Indian fans and if they have a bad year, 2009 will have only the good fans!

I've been a Tribe fan my entire life.

But... even as a Tribe fan... if my team is not in the playoffs, I'll pick a team I like and cheer for them. It doesn't mean I am any less of a Tribe fan... but I'm not going to stop watching just because my team's out.

So... maybe some NYY fans are routing for the Tribe because they have the rivalry with Boston... and maybe some fans of teams not in the playoffs saw the Tribe and liked the way they play.... so are rooting for them now. When next year starts, they'll be rooting for thier teams again...

Well, if your team isn't in the postseason or has been knocked out already you've got to root for somebody. Personally, I'm rooting for the Indians. I'm a Royals fan and since I haven't had a chance to root for the Royals in the postseason for 2 decades, I always root for an AL Central team. I still bleed Royal blue, but the games are more fun to watch if there's a team you want to win and a team you want to lose. It at least gives you a little something to get excited about. I'm not on any bandwagon. I'm not going out and stocking up on Indians hats or T-shirts, but whats the point of watching the playoffs if you don't care who wins?

I agree...Yankees fans need to stick with their own team. The only reason they're going after the Indians now is because the last team they want to cheer for are the Red Sox.

Its ok though, the Red Sox have enough people in their nation...

GO SOX!!!!

I'm a Tiger fan and saw what the Tribe could do this season. The A.L. central is the toughest in the MLB. So..sorry,dude the Tribe is the best this year.Red Sox are good, but won't beat Chief Wahoo this year....and in case you don't know,it not against the law to root for a non home town team.

People will root for who they want. But don't say everyone is joining the Indian bandwagon because I'm not. There are other faithful Boston and NL team fans. I'm not jumping on ****.

What the hell? I don't know what your talking about. I know that I am not on the Indians bandwagon and for good reason. I am a Tigers fan and as you know the Tigers and Indians have been rivals for more than a century. I would never cheer for them, unless it is in the Major League movies cause then I would go for them. I am definitely on the Rockies bandwagon though. I hope they win the World Series cause they deserve it for their hard work just to get to the playoffs. Go Rockies!!!

For those people that absolutely NEED to cheer for someone, they move to another team when their team is eliminated.

For me, I follow all teams, but cheer for only a few.
However, I bet money on Cleveland to win it all, and had said all along "Indians in 4"

Perhaps it's just that you are noticing the Indians cheers more

It seems you're only pointing the finger at yankee fans? i dont get your question bro....?
As a baseball fan, when your team is no longer in the race, you try and root for another team, it doesnt necessarily mean youre automatically switching teams ya jackass...
for me? i would like to see the rockies and indians
one: i hate arizona's guts
two: boston is our arch rival...
i mean just b'cuz my team is out doesnt mean i cant root for another team
bonehead
