We're all pretty close and I'm invited to her bachelorette party. What should I get her? It's kind of embarassing, seeing as how she is kind of a mom to me....

I'm thinking that a bachelorette party doesn't usually require gifts, so is this a combination shower/bachelorette party? There will probably be a male stripper etc. there just for fun, so it's probably supposed to be a little bit risque. A tasteful gift is in order....such as a nice piece of lingerie she won't mind showing off to her new husband during the honeymoon! Scented candles, bath salts, lotions and oils are all appropriate. A coupon for a couples massage might be welcomed. Remember, although she's someone's mother, she's also a woman and a lover! :)

Appropriate gifts in your situation:
* a gift card to a nail salon to have a mani-pedi before the big day
* a gift card to the day spa
* a bottle of champagne if she drinks
* a pretty robe
There are many gifts that would work. It doesn't have to be risque just b/c it's a bachelorette party :D

No gift is required for a bachelorette party, unless you were asked to bring a 'gag' gift.

I'd go with a bubble bath set, silky bathrobe, scented candle set....Something that you would be comfortable giving your mom. A gift certificate to a spa, or for a manicure would also work.

You should go to a store like, Bath & Body works, and get her some lotions and sprays that have a nice scent. Women love to smell nice and she will most likely use it on the night of her wedding.

Get her something you would feel comfortable giving your own mother. Just a gift sex of bubble bath, lotions etc would be fine.

THe best thing to give her would be money , seeing as you are close and don't know what to give her . Besides , I know that my mom does like it because I don't know what she really needs . And DON'T FORGET to keep giving her your love .
