Ok so i met this really really sweet guy. We talked a little and he was really nice. We've been talking on the phone for about a week now....he asked me to go out with him and be his "girl" this morning...i don't know what to say. He's in 10th grade((He's 16)) and i'm in 8th(i'm 13). We're kinda different...i mean he's goes to a really ghetto school and he's really ghetto and i'm a goodygoody from a prep school. He's really nice and sweet when I talk to him and stuff and i do like him but...i don't know...should we be more than just friends?
I asked this once before and someone got really offended. I'm really sorry about that i really didn't mean to offend anyone. I thought "ghetto" would work since he's in a gang...I'm really sorry if anyone got offended.

theres a difference between a 20 yr old and a 23 yr old, a 26 and a 29. they are all grown up, and you, a 13 yr old and a 16 yr old is like a little child dating an almost grown up. stop kidding yourself. you don't like him. no matter how much you think you do, you don't. a guy like that..it's so obvious. he is just trying to use you. not necessarily to gang-rape you, but maybe to have as something to laugh at with his gang banger friends. im not allout saying he's a bad person, but cmon! he's in a damn gang!! why do pple join gangs? well not for very good reasons. he had some reason to join a gang, and that just makes him not a very good guy to go out with. for all girls. even a girl the same age as him, 16. and DAMN! you're 13, girl!! having any association with that guy, much less go out with him will end in heartbreak/disaster. if you go out with him, you will realize too late that it was a mistake, and you will regret it, i promise.

Well... first of all, 13 is too early to date... period. Your choice of "date" as described above is testament to that. You apparently have no common sense.
If he is in a gang, please be aware that gang initiations for girls involve being gang-raped repeatedly.
One year in age difference is light-years in development. 16 year olds are far more sophisticated than 13 year olds. 16 year old boys are only looking at how quick they can get sex from a girl. They typically don't care about taking precautions against disease or pregnancy, either.
Wait until you are 16 or older and can bring home someone your parents would approve of.

I think it's alright to go out with him, but dont do anything stupid that u'll regret. He might be a little more advanced than you are, considering ur 13 and hes 16, but i think its alright.

Yeah, age dosn't matter what really matters is if you like him. If hes in a gang then thats him, let it be and things will work out for its self.
