why is it that channel 4 is louder than channel 5 and i think it is louder than the other channels, why are they not all at the same volume and also when the adverts come on they seem to be much louder than the programme

all the channels seem to have different volumes. the adverts are really loud and it does my head in.

I had not noticed that channel 4 was louder than five, but certainly agree that when the ads. come on it gets louder. Thank goodness for the remote control.

the reason why adverts are louder than programmes is so they can make you still listen to it when you go into the kitchen when you make a brew , also they cool down supermarkets because it makes you hungry , they dont miss a trick , so remember try and have your tea before you go shopping again :)

The station using that channel may have a different setting than the next one, so blame the station, that is also why one station has perfect balance in stereo, while another has only one channel on your speakers working.
