I went to a h.school football game last weekend with my husband.I really enjoyed it until the 2 women sitting in front of me stood up,and i couldnt see the game! Everybody else only stood up when a touchdown was made by our team. The 2 women KNEW other ppl were behind them....they did not seem to care that we couldnt see around them.Is it just me,or was their behavior totally rude and inconsiderate?

They were rude. Standing should only be done during the exciting moments, then the crowd sits back down. You should have asked them to please sit or stand elsewhere. If they still stood, I would have involved security. Inconsiderate things like that are what cause the rest of the spectators to become unruly.

Absolutely rude. Jumping to your feet when there is a goal (I'm thinking at hockey games which is what I mainly attend) is totally understandable. Maybe even a fight. But just to stand the whole couple hours? If you want to do that, get out of the stands. I didn't pay my money to look at your back, jerk.

I think it should be legal to punch such people in the spine, just once per offense, no questions asked. People don't care about anyone but themselves, and really should be held accountable. I'm going to start bringing a spray bottle of water and spritz them in the back of the head if they stand up at inappropriate times.

To some people it will be veiwed as rude to others it will be veiwed as normal behavior. The people that want to stand up during the whole game should sit up higher while you and your husband should sit on a lower level if you dont want this to happen again. Also maybe polietly asking them if they could sit down or trade places with you would of been the right thing to do.

Nope, not you. They were rude and inconsiderate. I would politely ask them to sit down so that i could see.I mean, nobody is more special than anyone else.
If that did not work i guess I would do other silly things around them. There might be an arguement but oh, well.

It was rude, but I doubt they realized they were being inconsiderate. Next time ask them nicely if they wouldn't mind switching seats so they can stand and so that you can see the game. Just politely inform them that they're blocking your view. Most people are very courteous when you confront them about it.

It was rude and inconsiderate. If they wanted to stand that was fine but not in front of other people. They should have moved to where they were not inconveniencing others.

I think it was totally rude. If a person wants to stand at the games, they should be considerate of others and stand where they are not blocking others vision. Some people just have no manners (never been taught) and simply do not care about the feelings of anyone else.(Bel) my son may have been at that same game and I was hopeing to watch him also. Duh !!

Very rude and you could have asked politely that they sit down so you could see. Or were there other seats you could have moved to?
