There is no doubt about it Tony Stewart is a great driver, and does have a good thing going for kids, But, his mannerrism stinks, he blames everyone else for his mistakes,(even his own team mate Denny) he acts like it's NEVER he's fault, sorry fans like it or not he is a hot headed cry baby, who is very disrespectful to everyone, always wants to fight, don't care who he runs over, or who he takes out (but that's ok right) on the track, but cries when he gets bumped, shoves reporters, and refuses interviews, and tries to belittle every driver on the track. So this is the driver you cheer for? Wow! Let's take a vote who the biggest cry baby in Nascar again?????????? Say what you want I have NEVER seen a Hendricks driver act like this!

if Sunday's race was between Tony and Denny and Denny won, Oh My God Tony would have been crying and yelling and wanting to fight Denny. You true Stewart fans know that for a fact!!!!!!!!

Sorry but as a NASCAR fan since 1960 I have seen drivers come and go,I've seen attitudes and mannerisums that make Tony look like a saint.
I pull for Tony because he reminds me of the drivers from the 60's(Curtis Turner,Darrell Derringer...)
and that style racing is what got NASCAR up to todays drivers.
And there are some good drivers that have come through the Hendrick teams but certain politics keep me from being a fan of Hendrick teams.

Tony just brings out passion in people, those that hate hate hard those that love love hard. It's the same way it was with Earnhardt in the 80's and Gordon in the 90's, i'm not saying he is as good as they were, but i am a fan and by the way it seems that you made your mind up that he is a crybaby so maybe it ain't the tony fans who are defensive, maybe it's the tony haters who are overly offensive.

Because We think Tony is the coolest driver, and he doesn't take crap from anybody. like Jimmy Johnson is any better, he is so stuck up, he thinks he is the best of the best. But he isn't, he thinks he is the s**t just because he won the Nextel Cup last year. Besides reporters shouldn't try to talk to Tony when he is mad, because they know he will cuss. I think they shouldn't make it that they have to go talk to them, that's just a stupid rule in NASCAR!

Well first of all, we are all defensive when it comes to crap talking about our driver, including you!!!! Its true what you say about Tony but he is not the only driver who does that. Whining among drivers is very popular. Kyle Busch is great at it, thats why he will do well at JGR with Tony and Denny!!!! Jeff Gordon always whines when a driver won't let him by or even whines about his own teammate Jimmie Johnson!!! They all do it even my favorite Jeff Burton!!! They just get upset if things aren't going their way and they need to cry about it and blame it on other drivers.

I'm gonna have to take issue with you on this one. It's true that Tony is a hothead and does really stupid things (especially when things aren't going well).
That said, I think he is far from being the most idiotic when mad (that'd be Harvick or "Trash" Gordon #7), or the whiniest (that'd be Kyle Busch). I've seen him take the fall for some of his mistakes. Not all, but some.
I don't root for him, but I respect his talent- and I say there's a place for him in the sport. I'd rather have Smoke for a neighbor than Barry Bonds.

I CAN'T AGREE WITH YOU MORE. JOHNSON IS NOT A CRY BABY LIKE TONY. HE'S CONSTANTLY BLAMING OTHER PEOPLE FOR HIS WRECKS. EVEN MENTIONED RETIRING BECAUSE HE NEVER WON A RACE AT THAT POINT. OH TONY, GO HOME AND CRY TO YOUR MONKEY!!

Hendrick drivers dont whine...PLEASE!! What about all that crap about villeanue(not sure of spelling) starting at dega. Also, both gordon and johnson were whinning about biffle winning at kansas. Give me a break. At least tony is not afraid to lay it all out there. His passion is what I love about him. He is a true racer. Who wants to see boring gordon and johnson kissing everyone a** all the time? I have met tony before, he was very nice and respectful. I didnt even meet him in an autograph session, just happen to run into him. He does alot of charity, as do all the drivers. When it comes to racing, he is hardcore, and I dont see how anyone can blame him for that!!
Go Smoke!!!

Its just Tony being Tony. Lots of the old school racers were the same way. He fits right in with guys like AJ Foyt, Dale Sr, and a ton of other guys.
No Hendrick guy whines and blames others? Mrs. Gordon and her daughters Jimmie and Kyle wrote the book on it.

Tony is no cry baby, that would be Jeff Gordon. And you're wrong when you say Tony doesn't accept any blame. Tony will admit he's wrong but not until he's had a chance to cool down. Tony has a short fuse, he's a hot head, there's a big difference between that to being a cry baby.
I admit it's not easy at times being his fan. But I'm no fair weather fan like some people are. Tony is the Dale Earnhardt of today. If you remember, Dale Sr had plenty of race fans that didn't like him either.
