There is something called, Interaction.
It is when chemicals inside your body collide.
It isn't uncommon for certain foods to react with the chemicals to cause an irritation of the stomach.
Some drugs can cause death when taken with certain foods.
I suggest, if you are going to take Vitamins do so in the morning, before eating, or at night before bed.
If the pain worsens or is extreme go to a Doctor.
Otherwise, it should pass.

It's more likely the lunch than the vitamin. But in the future, take them both together at the same time. If a vitamin were going to upset your stomach, it will have less opportunity while diluted among the food content of your stomach.

What kind of vitamin? Some do cause stomach aches if not taken on full or empty stomach. Take them while eating if you think they are giving you pain.

Hi,
Although I am not sure why, I also felt very sick after taking one a day maximum. I stopped using that brand becasue of that. I did get some from a health food store that seemed to work well although they were not as easy to get.
