have u ever heard of it?
how does this differ from your constant "end of times" preaching?
is the only difference that you dont give an exact date, that way if your wrong u can still claim "its in the future" ?
makes me think of the boy who cried wolf, or chicken little...

julia ur more then welcome to research it, but essentially its for a denomination of christianity that claimed the world was ending, and their "leader" gave out a date of the end of the world/jesus' return. so all the followers sold their posessions prior to, awaiting for this day, and when it came to pass, they realized they had just lost everything.
basically another instance of christianity playing the boy who cried wolf.
