Be ye perfect, even as the Father which is in heaven is perfect.
This means strive to be, and endure to the end, not give up when the going gets tough!
The adversary is doomed to failure if we apply faith by the bucketload. To those of you who say:" Jesus paid for our sins" - Yes He did; but this gift is ours if we repent of wrong-doing, and doesn't mean we will never sin again.
What did Jesus Christ give ME? He wiped the slate clean, but I have to repent to keep it that way; He conquered death that I too may rise again.

It is enough. Go and sin no more! and if we stumble we have an advocate, Jesus Christ. It is true that we can conquer our sin. The main thing is are we really trying with all our heart and strength? If we are dead serious about being holy and righteous we can be. Its not easy but possible. If we have just given up and said well I just cant stop sinning then our heart is not right. Paul said it is not to them that start the race that the prize goes, but to them that finish . Those that endure to the end of the race shall be saved. Get behind me Satan I'm laughing at you because the power of him who dwells within me is greater than you. God bless you brother.

No Jesus was quite straight- forward with His reply,He told her to go and sin no more.
Jesus was expressing here the ideal for all believers that it was not good enough to be lukewarm about personal sin but to really take a firm stand against it, He also knew full well that as we are all tainted with the rebellion of original sin that we would indeed fall at times and so he made the provision for His church when He commanded the Apostles to forgive sin in His name.
The redemptive sacrifice of Christ in no way interferes with the free will of a sinner, but if a sinner repents then the graces won by Jesus are at his/her assistance.

In this world we will have trouble,,,,our carnal bodies still give us a problem..even Paul struggled with always doing the right thing...Christians are not perfect...we make mis-steps...and sometimes we get chastised by God..for our own good....but if we confess our sin, he will forgive us. Temptation does not make us laugh as you suggest...it is always there but we struggle to overcome and will continue to do it,,,,but we are forgiven.
We were sealed by the Holy Spirit, the minute we received him. Sin no longer reigns in our bodies. Should we sin because we are under Grace and not the law? Paul says no,,,but we do have someone to turn to who will plead our case. And when Jesus pleads your case, you can be sure, God will find you not guilty by reason of Jesus.

Why did Jesus Christ die? What in addition to His death is required for salvation? NOTHING! We are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ! Those who tell you that you MUST be baptized, or must do this or that, are adding their on words to God's Word and they have the distinct privilege of heaping burning coals on their own heads. Don't fall in with the MANY who are traveling the broad road, running headlong into the lake of fire. Be content to remain among the FEW! Search your heart, the official residence of The Holy Spirit, and much Light will be shed as you search for Truth throughout The Holy Scriptures. God bless everyone!

Because Christians (and all the others) ASSUME that their gospel is correct, yours is a lie at best, and they know EVERYTHING about God. Maybe we wouldn't sin sooo much if puritanical religionists hadn't made almost every natural instinct a sin! But I guess it isn't a sin to pollute our earth for a profit, murder ecosystems in the quest to fuel our SUVs, to wage war on other people and LIE about our reasons for doing so or claim that the enemy are EVIL INFIDELS who must die... But uh-oh, two men had BETTER NOT make a life-long committment to eachother, cus THAT would be bad!

Why do I accept that I will always sin? Because as long as I am in this fleshly, earthly body I will have a sin nature.
If you are a Christian...this is an odd question. Paul the apostle said he wanted to do good, but could not....do you think you're better than Paul??

Christians do not accept that they will always sin. We will be free from sin when we die. On earth we still struggle. Every man sins, No exceptions but Christ. All the great men of the Bible sinned.

Occationally the christians are exposed to the truth... that they will always sin.... The only sin is called religion.. so I guess they are right... They are the opposers to order... they are the would be murderers of the man who would inspire the prophecy of Jesus... and in their arrogance and ignorance they would celebrate the death of the would be savior... A man can not save you through his death... being a prophet he would know what the futur would hold if he would tell the truth.. He was meant to condemn religion... The christians would murder him for it... as they murdered John Lennon...

The power of Christ is indeed able to crush temptation on every level. Thought that does not understand Christ on a deep level will have doubt and fear, and even believe some "evil" situation is beyond truth's power to handle. Everything good and true is in place, and now we must turn to see it, and not take a half way stance when we turn.
