No! Global warming is simply not a killer. There is not enough carbon trapped in all the coal and oil in the world to put enough CO2 in the air to make the world more than very slightly warmer than it is now, even if we burned it all. If we ignore global warming and keep on as we are now, oil runs out in 100 years and coal runs out in 500 years. At that time the world may be 5 degrees warmer or something like that, sea levels may be a few feet higher, Holland may have lost all that land they reclaimed from the sea over the centuries and some other low lying coastal areas, like New Orleans and Venice, may be below sea level, but all the residents will have long since have moved out of those areas so there will be no loss of life. Over all it is a very mild kind of problem that will take many hundreds of years to reach its maximum. The idea that hurricanes and diseases and droughts and floods and so on will all get so much worse that it will decimate the world is just alarmist speculation. It is just as likely that the changes will be beneficial as harmful. There will certainly be some combination of both harmful and beneficial changes, probably with the beneficial ones predominating because a warmer climate is CLEARLY better for humans than a cooler one. Just Try living through a Montana winter and you will see what I mean.

Stranger,
Ask yourself:
"Who gets to influence my thinking in this debate?"
This debate is not about the environment. It is about manipulating how you think, vote, spend, and what rights you are willing to give up. It is about power. Global warming is just a vehicle being used at this time to control and influence you.
Remember the population crisis of the 60's starving us all out by the 80's?
Remember the coming ice age of the 70's; scientific data and all?
Remember the ozone hole of the 80's burning us all to a crisp? Just recently the theory was shown invalid.
Is it possible that this is about who gets to control you. Who benefits from that? Now think for yourself.

Nope, not everyone.
The world will only change and those unlucky will die in natural disasters or of new diseases. The only other way people will "die" from global warming is if the sea raises 20 feet and those 100 million people who's homes will be underwater will move to higher ground and overpopulate the rest of the world. There will be more stress on the environment and since there is more people in the rest of the world, disease will spread faster and violence will probably go up. But that last sentence was just a guess.

No. But if we do nothing, it will be very bad.
It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.
Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.
Really good website for more information here:

Lots of numerical scientific data proving it real here:

Proof that most scientists think it's real and mostly caused by us here:

Yes
Those that aren't killed out right by the coastal flooding when the ice caps melt will starve to death from the dust bowls that will be every where that has not been flooded.
Repent now, the grim reaper is in the fuel tank of your SUV.

Not for about 1,000,000,000 years when we will experience real global warming.

Almost certainly not. Most of the people who will die as a result of global warming will be in third world countries in places like Africa, where they are being/will be hit with things like food and water shortages, heat waves and droughts, and increased malaria outbreaks.
If you live in a wealthy country, odds are you won't be directly affected very much in your lifetime. You'll probably eventually see food prices increase, we'll likely have stronger hurricanes hit the coasts, maybe water shortages, things like that, but it likely won't kill you.

Only if you're caught in the stampede of "sheeple" that are in a panic from the hype being pushed by those with the most to gain by keeping you in a state of fear and emotional distress.
Those people being the ones who want to control your life and how you live it by regulating what products you use, the way you use them, how much of them you use. People like Al Gore are their mouthpieces and environmentalists have become their "useful idiots".
"They" don't care if the earth is warming or cooling. Those are phases which the earth goes through unceasingly as the ages pass. "They" only care to have you believe that it is caused by man's "evil ways" and turn it into a political issue that "they" can use to take control of people's lives through lies and fear and that puts them in control.
"They" are the left wing of the political world. Not necessarily democrat or republican or whatever a political party calls itself. "They" have members in all political parties and are in control of our media and educational systems, and most of our government.
No doubt someone in this forum will call me a "conspiracy nut." You can take that as just a sign that they are one of the "sheeple" who have been hoodwinked and brainwashed into believing whatever they are told.
