It's like saying, I will not believe, I will not I will not I will not.
Like that. Don't take it personally. Remember Jesus said, if they hate you, they hated me first.

It only takes two people to report someone and get them a violation. Sometimes one group will be the majority here ( according to time of day) and will try to make their beliefs or lack thereof the only opinion shown on the board.
Sadly to say, Christians are just as guilty as anyone else. Someone with a strong belief will thumbs down any and every answer that does not fit their belief system. They think they are 'defending the faith' by doing so.
These people have no sense of 'freedom of speech' or tolerance for others.

I click on thumbs down when the answer doesn't answer the question. Sometimes the religious people throw in a "God is great! Praise be to Lord God Almighty!" and it has NOTHING to do with the question. So, since it's spam, I click thumbs down.

I don't put thumbs down on people who believe in God/Jesus. I give thumbs down for people who give incorrect information. Personally I don't believe in God or Jesus, but if someone who answers does, that's their honest opinion.

I don't put thumbs down because you're a Christian, not at all. I thumbs down because of some of the ignorant, hate-filled answers I see in this section. People who post crap don't deserve to have thumbs up. I do it to atheists and Christians alike.
Don't take it personally, but you'll notice very quickly that there's a lot of atheists that populate this section, so that might explain so many thumbs down.

Christians put thumbs down on people saying that they don't believe in their god, or anyone who says that evolution is true, or homosexuality is natural, or anything else they don't agree with. It goes both ways.

It's a shame we can't give a thumbs down on a question.

I put thumbs down on the "I love JESUS" blah blah blah when it has nothing to do with the question asked.

I put a thumbs down when I don't agree with a statement, when it is pages long, or when it is a blatant copy/paste plagiarized statement. Also when it is completely false.

after what Christians have done to people throughout history, you want a thumbs up for supporting them?

You shouldn't be proud that your mind isn't open to change.
But I'm not one to thumbs down a differing opinion. Of course if it's accompanied by a lie, then I will.
