Towels cannot try my hair all too good, and because of that it is forced to air dry and it looks horrible afterwards. Can I use a blowdryer to fix this problem or will it make things worse?

Yes but they have products now that you can use for heat damage. CVS or your salon can help out with that.

Blowdryers actually do cause hair to partially fry. To help you out, you should try using tresemme heat activated products. They are a life saver! Also, buying an ionic hair dryer can greatly reduce damage.

I have been using a blowdryer everyday for 25 years, and my hair is thick , and healthy! I use Revlon Ionic ceramic blow dryer, you can get at any store. As long as you use a good shampoo, and conditioner, I don't see why you would have a problem.

I couldn't survive without a blow dryer!

I think you're using too hot a heat, or using the blowdryer too close.
Use a conditioner????
You never mentioned your style or type of hair.

I think you should check out www.biolustreflorida.com
I just went to their launch party and had my hair done, free as a demo. Its amazing, my hair was breaking off and flying away. I will always always buy this stuff. Its awesome, I saw a difference as soon as she rinsed my hair. I have no damage anymore, its unbelievable! No more split-ends, its like my hair is NEW! I love it!
www.biolustreflorida.com and they have a myspace. I just asked to be on their friends list

yeah it does alot. I rarely blow dry my hair..I'm lucky though because my hair comes out nice and straight even if it air dries. Try brushing your hair then towel dry it and use your blow dryer only like twice a week

blow dryers do damage your hair they dry it out way to much it is better to dry your hair with a towel and let the rest air dry it takes longer but atleast your hair wont be dry and brittle its more softer and easy to manage

You can use a hair drier, but not to the point where your hair is totally dry, use it until your hair isn't dripping anymore, then finish with a towel. I only use a towel, and my hair looks...ok.
Hope that helps! :)

It's the heat that damages it. Use protectants for your hair/heat and use either the cool setting or a very low setting that will be better.

Yes, they do ruin your hair, by drying it out no less. However, you could try to use it on the cool setting rather than hot. Good luck and God bless****
