We are so certain because that's what the scientific evidence overwhelmingly indicates.
Your claim that scientists continue to debate the human cause of global warming is deceptive. As with any scientific issue, there is always new research happening and alternate theories, but the vast majority of scientists agree that humans are the primary cause of the current global warming.
Your claim that scientists are making a buck off global warming is absurd and insulting. That's like saying that doctors make false cancer diagnoses so they can make a buck off the chemotherapy treatments.
And yes, eventually China and India will reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. However, as a developed country, we'll almost certainly have to lead the way before they will follow. We became a rich nation by emitting tons of CO2, and China appropriately feels that we should therefore address our emissions before developing countries are expected to address theirs.

Everyone isn't certain about humans' effect on global warming. Only a large majority of those experts who have studied the issue are certain. If you are not an expert but have had enough scientific training to understand the reasons the experts are convinced, then you too would be convinced. For all others, listen to and believe the majority opinion of the experts. What basis do you have that scientists are in it for the money? None! Wake up! The do you a favor!

Because that's what the data says.
Because of the data 99+% of scientists around the world believe global warming is real and mostly caused by us. And any number of very distinguished people, too.
"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”
Vice Admiral Richard H. Truly, USN (Ret.)
Former NASA Administrator, Shuttle Astronaut and the first Commander of the Naval Space Command
Here are two summaries of the mountain of peer reviewed data that convinced Admiral Truly, short and long.

"There's a better scientific consensus on this [climate change] than on any issue I know - except maybe Newton's second law of dynamics. Global warming is almost a no-brainer at this point,You really can't find intelligent, quantitative arguments to make it go away."
Jerry Mahlman, NOAA

Humans have no effect on global warming. History has shown these cycles time and time again, without the help of man. Even though we are the top dogs on the planet, we don't control the planet.

That's funny, do you expect to work for free? And a couple of hypocrisies;
You say 'come to your own conclusions' and then pre-empt our conclusion to coincide with your own, or that of the website.
Secondly you're wearing Tudor garb, when niether california or fidel castro were around in the time of the Tudors.

Everyone is not certain, but the Bush administration for the FY 2007 Budget has allocated 1.7 Billion dollars for climate change research. So I think there is definitely money in climate research, that is why there are so many people on the AGW band wagon. The overwhelming evidence that indicates that climate change is not AGW driven would impact that 1.7 billion dollar purse significantly, that is why skeptics are stone walled from federal funding and must seek funding from major oil companies.

How could politicians limit our freedoms and raise our taxes if it was proven that the Sun was the cause of our warming?
Remember "global warming" is about the money. It's a lie based on greed alone.
