Partial dentures are used to replace missing teeth. They are 'locked' into place with the use of clasps, which are similar to 'arms' hugging the tooth/teeth next to the place where the extracted tooth/teeth has been replaced. They can and should be removed at night. If they're made right, they will not be noticed by others.

It takes a few appointments to have one made..these visits will involve impressions, bite registration, color match and eventual insertion visit. Additional visits may be needed to have them adjusted, but that's no big deal

You'll be just fine with them!

Best of luck~

partials are partial dentures, to fill the space of the pulled teeth. (You can google to find an image.) however they'll look really natural when you have them in. They're a lot like wearing any other dental appliance. People most likely will not notice as long as you don't pop them in and out in public. Talk to you're dentist he'll be able to answer any questions, don't be afraid to ask! Good luck!

A partial is a dental plate that is used to replace the teeth that got pulled. People will not notice them if they are made right.
