Need more information.

A dead/weak battery will prevent a car from starting. But this is one of many reasons.

Other things preventing a car from starting.
1. Bad Gasoline
2. Bad Fuel Pump
3. Bad injectors
4. Broken Timing belt
5. Jump in Timing Belt
6. Bad igniter module
7. Bad ignition coil
8. Bad ignition switch

There's more. You're not specific enough on what you've tested.

It drives me nuts when people ask a question like this and then don't put any pertinent information with it. How are we supposed to know why? Is it out of gas, did you not turn the key, is the engine seized up? Way too many possibilities.
