So now what do you know ? Horse power and torque are related to rpm. this is the car makers dream. They advertise this high horsepower but don't tell the whole story. For instance your 330 hp and 270 ft/lb torque.
270 ft/lb at 5000 rpm = 257 hp.
270 ft/lb at 6000 rpm = 309 hp
270 ft/lb at 6500 rpm= 334 hp
And thats how they do it. just rev. it up and you get the horses. hp is easy, torque is the big factor.
