Wouldn't a good religious/spiritual person want to fight the rule of Satan to the death? I believe the fight begins within, we must conquer the evil within us (I.e. greed, hatred & delusion), before we can hope to help others and truely battle evil.

Who's with me? We can win this!

Satan is just the name that I'm using to personify the evil at the top, the people who love to be greedy (stack up billions & give none to beneficial charity), hateful, cause wars, promote ignorance & harm their own people.

I argue that it is governments & the 'system', the monarchies, huge corporations, banks, etc, that are the true evil in this world.

When Jesus instructed his apostles that they should, when one unjustly took away the coat, offer the other garment, he referred not so much to a literal second coat as to the idea of doing something positive to save the wrongdoer in the place of the olden advice to retaliate--"an eye for an eye" and so on. Jesus abhorred the idea either of retaliation or of becoming just a passive sufferer or victim of injustice. On this occasion he taught them the three ways of contending with, and resisting, evil:

1. To return evil for evil--the positive but unrighteous method.
2. To suffer evil without complaint and without resistance--the purely negative method.
3. To return good for evil, to assert the will so as to become master of the situation, to overcome evil with good--the positive and righteous method.

I believe we can. It is said in the Quran and translated as follows:
Surat AL-Ra'ad #11;11. For each (such person) there are (angels) in succession, before and behind him: They guard him by command of Allah. Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls). But when (once) Allah willeth a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect.

So it is true you need to start with your self.

But I kinda disagree with Satan ruling us. This is because we have a choice to do right or wrong. That is our greatest gift yet our greatest curse as humans.
It is said in the Quran and translated as follows:
Surat Ibrahim #14;
22. And Satan will say when the matter is decided: "It was Allah Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but reproach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with Allah. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty."

23. But those who believe and work righteousness will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow,- to dwell therein for aye with the leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be: "Peace!"

Also God said that if humans did not do mistakes I would have removed them from life and create another race that does mistakes yet ask him for forgiveness and compensate by doing the right thing.

Anyways I guess I have to agree with you on the General idea
Peace

"Fight the rule of Satan to the death". What an excellent example of religious oxymoronic thinking. Let's just hope you can see you who you're swinging at. "There has never been a good war or a bad peace." - Benjamin Franklin

Work on yourself. Everyone else is responsible for themselves.

Though the atheist in me finds it ironic that you want to fight delusion as well as Satan. Good luck to you! If it makes you a better, happier person then I wish you only the best.

According to your own faith you cannot "win" this.
However..... you are still obliged to fight.

Good luck figuring out where Satan is. Start in the mirror.

By placing your faith in Christ as Lord, you can share the love of God to the world. You will be a light in a dark world. It is Christ through us via faith that makes all the difference.
