I think I just know when a man is interested in me because he seems to ask a lot more questions about me and is more intersted than others would be.
As for a nice way to ask me on a date, I guess the man should just ask if he thinks we have gotten along so far. : )

Well by asking her out on a date to me shows that you are interested. Try to find out what her fav things to do are and her fav type of food then dig and find the best restaurant that's serves her fav food and/or find the best place that has something she likes to do. I like it simple in a way, so if a guy ask what my plans are for the evening, etc then that's fine or he can be fun/romantic and leave me a not/email or call. Just be your self and ask the way you feel is best. It really depends on the type of girl she is. So if you know her well, then go from there.

I like carnations, so I think him coming up to me with one, and just saying something like, "Would you have dinner and drinks with me?". Something like that would be nice to me. As far as the romantic part, maybe holding my hand across the table at a romantic restaurant, putting his hand in the small of my back to walk me out, and a light kiss goodnight.

I would want then to know me a little first; then he could say hi i was wondering if you would like to go get a burger and drink and maybe talk for a while.This way you could break the ice ..

I agree..just ask...If youre looking for something original....On a day/evening you know she has nothing going on try having a letter or invitation delivered to her while she is at work...give her all the info she needs to know...what, when, and where and it will be all she thinks about all day.

I like the beach so a surprise drive there would be lovely, then I would really know he cares about what im interested in and what I like.

I've always wanted flowers sent to my work ... it shows he's interested in me - plus he knows a little bit about me ... and the girls would go crazy at the office ... lol ... good luck ... !

to show me he is interested - smile at me and do the 'whats-up nod'
ask me on a date - walk up to me and chat with me about something non-date related. make me laugh or ask me about myself. then mention you would like to take me on a date. :)
