What about the lice crawling around in his hair? What about all those parasites in all those disgusting other places, especially the ones inside? How did he make sure they were there? He didn't have an x-ray machine or a microscope. He didn't even know they existed. What about all the bacteria and other organisms that live in cooperative relationships with a particular animal and the plants in its habitat? There a thousands of these questions which beg answers. Why didn't he just get rid of the troublesome ones when he had the chance?

I'd say because mosquitoes are an important part of the food chain. I know that bats can eat about 100 mosquitoes an hour.
