It's cheap entertainment. Almost every religious person thinks that they are the only one who is right.

The logic of debating religions and beliefs is one of exchanging ideas, confronting the problems in others' thinking, and even when you walk away from the argument sure that you're right, the points made by the opposition will subconsciously sink in and assemble itself with your previous knowledge. In so doing, you have just changed their mind, or influenced their decisions. Sometimes it can take years of constant exposure to opposing viewpoints for a person to become fully acclimated to reason, and sometimes its rather fast. But I'm sure eventually every single good idea, or thought will help every single person it touches eventually.

They only discuss to convert people. They are not open to other arguments. Christianity cannot be discussed with a christian.

The bible and christianity is like Yahoo Answers. The bible(guidelines) has the best of intentions, but doesn't work. Costumer service (god) is an automated response and never really existed.
No matter what you do as a user - you are always f*cked, and if you are too much trouble, you get expelled or persecuted...

Organized religion is like those "pyramid scams", the more they convince, the more those convinced will convince others,...etc. The more people they can hypnotize with the rhetoric, the more "10%s" the "religious" leaders will put into their pockets.

We debate rather than murder eachother about it. Frankly, SOMETHING has to be done about MASS DELUSION. We can't have people voting in presidents because they believe in the same Sky Daddy.

The true and honest way is to arrive at conclusions...because not one has all the answers...but to pittle around, and strive with each other..trying to (my religion is better than your religion..) well, this is totally "not" the way it is supposed to be....and all of us who ae "mature" know this....and all this "other stuff" is the puttering of babies.....
