Just out of curiosity.... If I wanted to rent a cruise boat for a weekend and go from Miami to Puerto Rico with the ship all to myself... how much would it cost? Also how many people does the average cruise liner fit combfortably ?

You could probably get a small cruise ship for three days for a million dollars that will hold over a thousand people.

I have some information on chartering a cruise ship. It will cost around 1- 11/2 million dollars. The time of year and the length of the cruise will determine the cost. There are approximately 740 cabins on the smaller ones. it would hold about 1400 guests. It goes out of Jacksonville ,Fl. Fall is a great time to receive better pricing. you may e-mail me if you would like more info @ mysunnydaygetaway@gmail.com
There are other options as well. You could rent a Yacht with a full staff for a week or two.
Hope this helps.

Like each little thing else you're able to do it at the cheap and that i bear in mind a 21ft boat spoke of as Shrimpy that did only that. I reckon you're able to discover sturdy convenience for £one hundred thousand. crusing on the extreme seas can never be certain secure yet you're able to % a heavily built yacht with Ocean going features. It has to have a sail as there is not any the place to gasoline up interior the midst of the oceans. i could misunderstand your use of the term sailboat and yacht for interior the united kingdom we use the two words to signify a ship with sails

It used to cost around 2 million for a ship that would hold around 2500 people. Carnival used to require a minimum 1 million deposit

However it is very unlikely that they would take just you, as they make alot of money from the bars/tours/casino etc. They have a clause that states that if you failed to sell a requisite number of cabins before an allotted date, your booking would be canceled and you would forfeit the deposit
