My friends of 6 years and I have liked each other the entire time. He's never said anything cause he was too shy and I never said anything cause I was a little bit younger than him and didn't think i was in his league ( we have a 3 1/2 age difference. I'm now 21 he's 24) . He moved and now he lives in another state and he's coming down to visit. We've been talking alot recently and we've both talked about our feelngs somewhat. What should I do when he comes down? I really like this guy. Have for 6 years.

Venice21 you are both adults now so why not just sit down and let him know exactly how you feel about him and allow him to give his thoughts on how he has and does feel about you. Fact is that as you've stated you two are friends and have been for a number of years so you both should be comfortable enough to lay your feelings on the table in a mature and open minded manner. Who knows you two may end up as a couple and if not then you two may have a very close and rewarding friendship that will last throughout your lives. Hopefully the two will meld into a couple that are best friends for the remainder of their lives. Live is good but if we don't let others know our feelings then sometimes we can't become aware of theirs either. I say go for it an best of luck to you both.

I am going to assume you not only like your friend but you really value your friendship as well. If that is true, this could be a sticky situation. Unfortunately, you cannot have your cake and eat it too. If you truly don't want the friendship to altered in anyway, then you must not try anything that is more than friends. Once you cross that line it can very difficult and sometimes impossible to go back to the way things were. Exercising this option will most likely leave you wondering if there ever could have been something more with him. If you do decide to take things to another level, you have to understand there is a chance things won't work out and could lose him altogether. However, there is a chance you two might be perfect for each other! The answer to your question boils down to this: how much are willing to risk? All this goes for him as well. Maybe you two need to discuss this before you decide to change anything between you. Good luck!

Just act normal. And put the moves on him. You know how long you've been waiting on this.

Be yourself and I think he likes you too as who you are. So, keep being yourself and enjoy your time being together.
