Just wondering is the USS Carl Vinson staying in Norfolk or going back to West Coast after this yard period.

If the carrier was originally stationed on the west coast, then it will return back there once it's dry dock modifications are complete.

The US Navy is very specific where its ships go. For the Aircraft Carriers they are stationed depending upon the number they are assigned. I can't remember for sure but I believe even numbered carriers are part of the Atlantic fleet and the odd ones are part of the pacific fleet.

To Harold: Sorry I did the the numbers mixed up. Evens are in the Pacific and odds are in the Atlantic.
