bad idea...one step closer to total federal gov't control of the citizenry. another loss of freedoms in the name of fear tactics...Besides with the natn'l id's in place once the RFID chips are completely ready for full information load it will be much easier to herd the sheeple for the implant of rfid and throw away of the harder to keep track of id cards. IF you mean if it's the mark of the beast or a prelude to it...possibly, but I don't know... I don't think alarmists notions are going to help any debates to try to get others without that perspective to see the other dangers of implementation of such ID's

there are 3 types of identity chips that will be used in the beast. but christians (i.e. believers) do not need to fear because death comes quickly in the beheading.

the 3 types are
visa
Rfid
DNA

to buy and sell one needs a credit card
to track people with implanted chips one needs the rfid
but to make these work together one needs to add Their DNA

i dont believe a national id is the same as the mark of the beast, the mark of the best in my opinion has existed since the days that cain slew able when Cain or His followers forced everyone to take the same Mark that God gave him. Those that did not were hunted and killed. or slowly tortured until they gave in.

We were told when the end comes we will all have numbers on us. Since ID cards did not exist back then; it may mean these are those IDs spoken of?

Papers, comrade, papers. Show your papers, comrade. Comrade, our records show your association with certain activities that our Leader has deemed dangerous. Please report for re-education at the re-education camp. Papers, comrade, papers.

Another step in the sovietization of America. Welcome to the USSA, comrade.

Oh, and RFID can be read from up to ten feet away with a briefcase-sized homemade "sniffer". Then it's just a matter of brute-force decryption of the hundreds or thousands of IDs that have been read while just sitting in a subway station...

Nazi Germany did the same thing. I don't believe in the Mark of the Beast thing; but it's a bad idea. A way for the government to keep tabs on you. There's too much snooping and secrecy going on in the government.

I don't think or give it much thought, I don't think it has any
Prophetic Value either. It seems that every generation
has something to tie with the events that are occuring for
the sake of misinforming the misguided. This is an
Electronic Age and things and people have to move with
the Speed of it.

100% for it. It will make showing two forms of identification easier when applying for things, and it'll be nice to have proof of citizenship. If they do it the same way they do military IDs, with the chips containing information about your file, all the better. We need better organization in this country. I can't even think of a logical argument against the national ID, and I'm good at playing Devil's Advocate.

Edit:
Mark of the Beasters: You have to have a State ID to buy certain things, and you have to have a driver's license to drive, how is a national ID any different?
People who think that it'll take their humanity:
The same argument as above applies, and do you really want the chaos that comes with lack of organization? I can think of a time when all a murderer had to do to escape punishment was move a state over. Then he could kill again, and if the heat got to him, he could move another state over. Is that really something we want to perpetuate?

An enemy to free people. A step closer to the nazi-esque police state where you can't go anywhere without your 'papers'.

"I AM NOT A NUMBER! I AM A MAN GODDAMN IT!"
