I think you should be okay by Friday you will be 5 days into the course, It would be a different story if you were going to the party tonight or tomorrow night.
Cheers.

Alcohol limits or even negates the positive effects of the antibiotics; you may not become ill per say, but the effectiveness of your course will be compromised. It's really up to you as to which is more important--getting the problem you're on antibiotics for sorted or partying Friday night. My advice would be that unless it's a major one-in-a-lifetime event at which you *must* drink; then stick to tonic water or soda and get well! There's always next week to party...

If you mix alcohol and anti-biotics, they will react and make you very ill. Also, the medication will probably stop working so you'd have to do another 7 day course as well.

You should never mix alcohol and antibiotics. It probably won't make you ill but the alcohol kills the antibiotic therefore rendering it useless. Have a teetotal weekend and give the antibiotics a chance to work on your body. You obviously need these antibiotics or your doctor wouldn't have prescribed them and your health has to come first. It's only one Friday night, be sensible and give it a rest, besides, think of the money you'll save.

It will affect the antibiotics, they'll stop working the minute you take the first drink and when you take another tablet the next day, it'll be like you're staring the course from beginning. You might be cure with a 4 day course, but it's up to you to risk it. If the antibiotics will together with alcohol risk your life, it should be mentioned on the packet.

You should take a break because you could get sick again. Stay the course. There will be plenty of other times to party hard. Take care of yourself. Relax. Do something else. There is lots to do.

You can have a couple of drinks, but any more and you'll start to feel really really drunk very very quickly. If you get tempted to have any more than a couple, make sure your friends are around to look after you.
