It's a pseudo-scientific cover story to 'defend' the biblical stories of 'god' creating the world and everything. No proof is offered, just the old trick of saying that certain things are too complex to have 'just happened'.

Creation and Evolution are opposite things.
Creationists believe in the idea that God (or some deity) created the universe and that's that, no questions. Christians would believe the version of this according to the first book of Genesis.
You don't really have to try to understand the theory of evolution because it's geniusly simple. Rational people see more sense in Charles Darwin's theory that the existence of all Earth's lifeforms began in the primordial sludge that used to cover it's surface, and have been evolving over billions of years through gradual genetic shifting over countless generations and natural selection.
Read The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins it explains Creation and Evolution and the arguments between them very well. Even if he does get a bit ****** off about it.

Creation is detailed in the Bible; Genesis Ch 1. It is often derided as a fantasy with no scientific basis but if you can be bothered to look into it seriously you will find that the scientific evidence fits perfectly with the creationist view. The theory of Evolution is as much a faith as is creationism. There is no proof for evolution (no matter what evolutionists might say); there are no examples of intermediary fossils, although there should be millions. The methods of geological dating are all flawed and often misrepresented in order to support evolutionary ideas. If you believe in God then belief in creation isn't a problem; if you don't believe in God then you have no option other than to believe in an out-moded theory that is in decline even amongst non-believing scientists.

Creation: 'God made the world from nothing'
Evolution: in each generation of animals, the ones with good characteristics, like being able to run away faster, survived, and passed the good stuff (being able to run fast) onto their kids...therefore the best of the best were created - 'evolved'

creationism is easy that is why the church holds it up0 as the truth, God did it, he just snapped his fingers and clack! Adam stood b4 him, he then took a rib of Adam and made eve, giving the church reason to class all women as second class citizens. OH then he made the rest of the universe, the end!
wait for it; I have heard of a christian who believed that the bones of dinosaurs were left in the ground as a test of our faith! that is how intelligent creationism 4 u.
If I was you I would read and lrearn more of Evolution, something that is scientific and can actually be Proven to ssome extent. unless you believe in fairty tales that is?

When we create something we make it. That is what happened. We put the maker down as being an all-seeing God, who loves his creation.

God sort of poofed everything into existence. Don't ask where God came from or why he did it or you will burn in hell, understand me, Hell!
