Yes you can get headaches from it. When I went on a diet I cut out coke and all sugary things and I had a whacking great headache for days. It's just your body detoxing...It'll go after a few days :)

yup! or yeh yeh yeh!! if ur still on all that caffeine! lol
cola coffee and good old tea are all diuretics ( they make u pee more)
so you could end up dehydrated if you dont drink water or fruity juices
I get bad headaches if I'm dehydrated or even just fighting of tiredness
the stomach n headaches could also be detox effect but should improve as you get rid of the toxins in your system
cutting something out totally usually has a seesaw effect as you end up going back due to cravings because your body or mind feels deprived

the headache could be from not having a coke...i drink coca all the time..and one time I stopped cold turkey and man the caffeine headache I got was out of this world awful. best thing to do is cut down on them, don't just stop drinking them altogether. that's what i had to do....but now I'm drinking them again like their never going to make them again...

It seems like you body is going through a withdrawal process. Caffeine, an ingredient in Coca Cola, is like a stimulant drug. When your body is cut off from that drug, it goes through a withdrawal process. Keep drinking the water, it's like a detox. Feel better!

Caffeine with drawls certainly cause headaches you may have to ween yourself down to a couple, or just drink 1 when you get a headache. Some headache over the counter meds have caffeine in them also, I find drinking a gatoraide helps with headaches sometimes.

You are withdrawing from the caffeine in the cola.
What you are expericencing are normal symptoms of caffeine withdrawal.
I gave up caffeine nearly two years ago. The withdrawl lasted 3 or 4 days for me so on that basis you are nearly through it. Once rid of caffeine you may be surprised how much better you sleep and how much more refreshed you feel in the morning.

Coke is ace!! I'd kill myself without it. If I don't have coffee in the morning I get a headache, and a doctor told me it's because of caffeine withdrawal, keep on going love!

yes, it's a caffeine withdrawl. the headache is definitly a symptom of your body not having the caffeine it's used to running on. but just keep drinking lots and lots of water and NO caffeine, otherwise your body's caffeine addiction will just get worse.

It could be. My mom has the very same problem if she doesn't drink it for a long time since she drinks soda pretty much every day. I don't like soda, but the same thing happens to me if I don't drink water for a while.
