The last few nights Ive been having dreams that I have been murdered. I keep getting shot. I dont know by who, just strangers. I do get scared because I live near Philly and there are new murders, kidnappings, rapes, etc.. each day. Do you think it is bothering me? Or do you think it could be something else? Thanks!

I think it is something else.
When you have a recurring dream, usually it means that your subconscious is trying to send you a message. You will keep having the dream until you "get" the message.
More likely the dream has to do with some recent emotional upset - perhaps one that you did not acknowledge in your waking hours. Did something happen to you recently that "killed" your sense of enthusiam, your level of trust, or your joy in life?

I think that its always there around you and in the back of your mind or subconscious. Dreams sometimes are just thoughts revisited but acted out in dreams.
It sounds like you are not feeling safe where you live, if you can try and find a safer neighborhood but these days bad things happen everywhere its the times we live in. Pray for peace of mind and learn to accept that what is meant to be for you will happen despite the world that we don't understand. Have a happy life

ohh-kayy..ive had a couple of dreams like that because of what had been going on around me.. example a few years ago when we had an amber laert i had a dream that i had gotten kidnapped..but nothing had really made so scared that i have had a bad dream... i wasnt scared at ll! it was just my subconcious mind telling me about my surroundings! thats all! :)

it depends u may be watching horror/scary movies.it may be a fear burried deep inside u.u should talk 2 someone u an really trust and find out what they think
