By all accounts the US is much crazier - I mean, more "religious" - than the rest of the West. You usually hear statistics to the effect that around 80% of Americans are Christian - although I always take exception to that, because the vast majority of self-identified Christians are really atheists in practice; even if they go to church every Sunday, it's just a routine, and the only time they ever take religion "seriously" is when somebody dies. In Europe, meanwhile, I've heard that devout Christians account for around 15-20%. Quite a difference. Our minority is their majority.

There are 2 questions. a million. do you recognize in spite of if or no longer there's a god/do you think of this is familiar in spite of if or no longer there's a god? in case you answer no, you're an agnostic. in case you answer sure, you're no longer an agnostic. 2. Do you think in a god? in case you answer no, you're an atheist. in case you answer sure, you're a theist. those 2 questions provides you with 4 effects - agnostic atheist, agnostic theist, "gnostic" atheist and "gnostic" theist. when you consider that agnosticism is a philosophy of information, it does not come to a decision the question of concept. All agnostics are, subsequently, the two atheists or theists.

33% of the world is Christian, and I think it's upward of 80 to 90% in the USA. You can check the CIA factbook on the web for specific numbers for any nation.
