He was dark skinned because he was of the Middle Eastern race, Israeli to be specific. Their characteristics are dark skin, black hair, and dark eyes.

I don't believe he was black. I don't believe He was blond haired and blue-eyed either. I know a lot of black people who can only think of Jesus as being black in order to worship Him. I know a lot of white people who can only think of him as a white person in order to worship Him. I think that is sad in both cases, because the truth will make you free. Jesus was a Jew. This is not african, it is not ethiopian, it is not european, and it is not american. It is jewish. While I was in Jerusalem in 2000, I saw a lot of dark skinned Isralis that didnt look african-american.

When will we get over this racial line that divides us so often and so well? Why does it matter if he were green? Jews were the chosen people, get over it!!!! Thanks to them, we can be grafted into the royal family and treated just as a son or daughter of the Most High God. We should be thankful to all Jewish people for giving us the gift of Jesus. period.

I would think that he was neither black nor white. He must have looked Arabic. Abraham, the father of Jesus' people was from Iraq so I doubt he looked Norwegian.

He was a Palestinian Jew. Find someone from Israel or Lebanon or Jordan, and you'll have a pretty good idea of Jesus' skin tone.

No, if he did exist he would have had an olive complexion and been Mediterranean-Caucasian, which is what Jews are classified as.
