Most of these could be made from the cheap dollar fabric at walmart clearance bin, some felt, then cardboard to shape stuff & glue for the fabric. Paper plate cones with fabric for hats, Paper plates for a back piece, that wouldn't be heavy or overheating.
I want to help please, can I, can I !!!!

How cute! Let me think for a moment.

Don't put it in a real costume if your taking out on halloween. Put it in a hat, a matching collar and leash. It'll still look cute but be comfortable for the dog.
It's much easier to put on a hat instead of a full costume. If you don't want to buy a new leash and collar set you can decorate your old set. You still get to have fun making stuff but your dog won't be miserable all night. If you want to make the hat you can.

Get ideas from pictures and see what material you have at home that could mimick them. A little hat, or a sheet that you could cut and dye for a cape, a pair of sunglasses, sparkles to glue to small clothing, red or black baby clothes. There are a lot of costume pics and videos at site below.

Simple one...

Get some orange fabric from a craft store, cut it to his size, and wala, a pumpkin! =) If you want to go all the way make little booties for his feet as well but make sure they stay on or he'll be stumbling all over the place. Happy Halloween!!

How about making him a clown? All you need to do is make him a pointed hat out of colorful lightweight material and a collar out of the same material. Simple and inexpensive!
Have fun and be safe.

Make sure it's very light material..The doggy can over heat being wrapped up..Specially since it already has a fur coat on..

THINK ABOUT IT ...How would you like to be wearing a winter coat RIGHT NOW ...and then someone wraps you up in another layer of gooffy looking clothing.....

THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!

awww..what a shame!! Don't try dress them up...its uncomfortable for the dog! Why don't you try something simple like a collar...not that exciting...but much more comfortable for the dog
