Sunday's race at Talledega was the eighth time this season alone that Dale Jr's engine went out on him. Ignoring all of the conspiracy theories that Jr fans have against Teresa Earnhardt, there's something seriously wrong with the engine combination over at RCR-DEI. Talledega's race proved there was something wrong when Burton and Truex Jr's engines blew.
It got to the point where Harvick was starting to have problems and Bowyer was saying he was so nervous, he was getting sick.
At HMS, there have been very few engines that blew this season. So by moving to HMS, Jr should have better equipment and he might actually finish more races next season.

The quality of the equipment that is at Hendrick is better than what Junior has at DEI and most "Junior fans" think he is being sabotaged and should leave DEI and go to Hendrick.

He is under contract with DEI until the end of the season, he wants to go out with a win at DEI before he leaves...Yes, I will be happy when he gets to HMS, the best move he could have ever made, yes he will be better off at HMS, I knew that when he said he was leaving DEI...I do not want him to walk away from the 8, go out a winner in the 8 before you leave and shove the trophy up his stepmons behind...
Go Dale Jr & HMS......I'm so ready for 2008.

Maybe they are thinking if he does go on over to HMS, he might actually finish or even win a race before the season is over.
Just my opinion!!

I'm not a Jr fan but i am glad to see him leave. He has had a bad year and if he stayed it would just get worse. He will do very well at HMS and I wish him all the luck!!!!

I think probably cuz they are all so anxious for him to get away from Teresa and get goin with Hendricks in hopes for a better season!!! Plus his crew chief Eury Jr. is over at Hendricks now so maybe fans want to see them go and start together early with Hendricks!!!
R u excited as a Johnson Fan and Hendricks Fan for Jr. to get started with your team??? just curious.....what your thoughts are.....

Have you met all the Junior fans? No, so why do you assume that all his fans want him to walk away from his DEI contract before it's done?
Yes, he'll be better off at HMS, but he has an obligation to finish the season with DEI.

One good thing (if you want to call it that) did come from all the blown engines RCR-DEI had this week, they now know it wasn't intentional sabotage of Jr's engines. Hell all of them had the same problem, a broken rod found in the bottom of the oil pan. That could easily be a manufacturer problem but I dont want to open up that can of worms. I am sad to see Jr have to leave DEI but I hope like was said above, that he eventually returns once Teresa pulls her head out of her posterior.

He needs to finish the season with DEI, that's what is he all about.... not being a quitter. He is out there now just to try and win as many as he can regardless of the Championship. This just has not been his best year, and next year will be a new start for him. Good luck in his endeavors.
