The passage at Revelation 22:3,4 is interesting because it shows that the throne of the Lamb Jesus is actually owned by Jehovah God. This reminds bible students that King Solomon was also said to sit on a throne owned by Jehovah.
(1 Chronicles 29:23) Solomon began to sit upon Jehovah’s throne as king
As with King Solomon, the fact that Jehovah the Father owns Jesus' throne shows that Jehovah is the Ultimate Sovereign.

This is speaking of New Jerusalem. Ancient Jerusalem was cursed due to unfaithfulness. (Malachi 2:2) "I shall also certainly send upon you a curse, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have even cursed the blessings, because you are not laying it to heart."
So New Jersalem will not have this curse. It will not end. Those joining God and his Lamb Jesus as part of his heavenly organization have been tested and proved faithful and loyal. There is no question that they will remain faithful.
The faithful servants have God's name on their foreheads, identifying him as their Owner. Rev. 3:12 "The one that conquers I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will be no means go our from it anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which descends out of heaven from my God, and that new name of mine."
They will count it an inestimable privilege to render him sacred service. Matt. 5:8 "Happy are the pure in heart, since they will see God." How happy they will be to behold and worship Jehovah in person.
It's fascinating that someone who had once been a human but is now a spirit creature will be able to see God.

I find it striking because every word of God is striking. John, The author of Revelation is talking about God's kingdom to come, there will be no evil there because God and Jesus is there. The forehead represents a person's mind so God will be embedded in the people's mind. I hope I didn't confuss you more. Ask God for understanding,he is where all understanding comes from.

It is about the community of the saved in a setting similar to that of Adam and Eve. In New Jerusalem is a river "flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life" (verses 1-2, NIV).
The biblical story of man begins in a garden with his rejection of the tree of life. It closes with God's immortal family dwelling together before His throne while enjoying the fruits of the tree of life. It is the kind of fruit-the product of righteous relationships-that will make eternal life worth living.
We're going to have God's name on us; we will be part of the family of God.
When a human potter finishes his work, he many times has a beautiful piece of pottery that he may enjoy, passed down from generation to generation, but when God finishes His work on His pottery, (human beings), He ends up with sons and daughters forever!
Relationship principles that God is now teaching us will be as applicable then as they are today. That is why God wants us to learn and apply His ways in our lives now. What we can take with us for all eternity is our love and concern for one another.
Our world is confused and deceived. But it won't forever remain that way. Jesus Christ gave us the book of Revelation to inspire confidence, hope and a clear purpose in life in all who will believe and serve the living God.

Nobody will go around saying "Goddamn" any more! The Lamb, a.k.a. Jesus Christ will have a throne next to the throne of God with an ample view to Hell where the vast majority of the human race will be tormented for ever and ever before him, the 144,000 virgin Jewish boys choir, Abraham, Lazarus and the "few" redeemed ones by the blood of The Lamb who made it to Heaven.
They will be teasing their unsaved family members and former acquaintances that are being tormented in Hell inviting them to suck on their wet big fingers, but they can't reach each other because of a great "gulf" of separation... So they will be teasing them to their hearts content for ever and ever while in his Holy sense of Justice God the Father will enjoy watching all of that to the fullest of his satisfaction. Because he loves the world so much! Now you know why.
Luke 16:23-25 (NIV) And being in torments in Hell, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.
Very few find the narrow gate to Heaven...
Matthew 7:14 (NIV) (Jesus said) "But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
Of the few who find it MANY, I tell you MANY won't be able to get in...
Luke 13:24 (NIV) "He* (*Jesus) said to them, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to."
Revelation 14:10-11 "he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb* (*God the Son Jesus Christ and a few selected Christians/John 17:24). And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."

It's part of the description of the "new heaven and new earth," or "new Jerusalem," depending on how you read it. What it's saying is that God will dwell among humans; there won't be any more separation. In that place and time we will be able to see God's face, and all humankind will worship God.
What is truly interesting to me is in verse 2, where it mentions that the Tree of Life is in this new Jerusalem. Where have we heard of the Tree of Life before? In the Garden of Eden, the ORIGINAL dwelling place of God and humans. In the end, humankind will have come full circle, and we will be back in the Garden of Eden with God.

Jesus is in God's chair? Sorry, not a man of faith here, but still. That's fascinating. Another fascinating thing is that we're all going to have Jesus printed on our forehead.

What lesson are you trying to show us? I am kinda slow, is it the servants part? I interpret that as a matter they choose to do. Actually, what we are all hoping for, serving God.

The word "curse" in the first phrase should be plural. Other than that, it's the usual vague prognostications.
