File jointly!!

With only one person working there is absolutely no advantage to even thinking about filing separately.

Although unique situations may change the answer, in most all cases it will be in your best benefit to file Married Filing Joint. I have been preparing taxes for many years and I believe that I have come across one incident when married filing separate produced the best outcome.

The best filing status in your circumstances would be Married Filing Jointly. The only other status available to you would be Married Filing Separately but that would cause you and/or your husband to loose several deductions and credits.
