I'm 14 though, and I know that's really young to get it. Symptoms I have are a lump in the upper part of my breast, weird small white lumps on my stomach (5) and same breast (3) that I thought were completely unrelated until I mentioned to a friend that I'd got about 3 more in the last week and when I showed her one she said they looked a bit like lymph nodes. The breast has gotten a bit painful, and is smaller than the other one. Also, I don't know if it's related or not but I've been getting some joint pains in my left leg over the last two days. I've told a matron about the white lumps, and have a doctor's appointment for them on wednesday, and I'm trying to decide if I'm overreacting or should tell the doctor about all of it.

hunni get this checked out A.S.A.P your doctor will not mind if it is( hopefully) nothing serious.the horrible thing about cancer is that the younger you are the faster it can spread as a young persons mettabollic and cell renewwal is faster than an old person . it is much better you get it checked and it is a false alarm than to leave it and it isnt. i wish you luck and sincerely hope it is a false alarm xx

Insomnia ur worrying too much, too soon. Go to Dr & tell him all your symptoms. The two cases may not be related but u want to get treatment for it all. It is easy for lymph nodes in the breast to develop infection. Sometimes a simple antibotic will relieve most symptoms. Also a warm shower can open up the pores to your ducts and gentle massage to easy the soreness. Make sure ur showering with warm water and soap. Steam opens the pores and ducts... should help with the acking feeling. Have u been bitten by tick or mosquitos? Fourteen is kinda young to develop breast cancer but they can develop lymph nodes infections.

you need to tell the doctor of all your symptoms. It is extremely unlikely at 14 you will have breast cancer, and breasts are NEVER botht exactly the same size, especially when you are growing. It is very likely that the pain is just the hormonal changes you are going through at the minute. The small white lumps could just be cysts, but really, don't worry, the chances of this being anything serious are absolutley TINY. So relax, and ALWAYS go to your docotr if you are worried, and always tell them EVERYTHING that is worrying you, or they might not be able to judge fairly what the problem might be.xx

listen the last thing you want to do is keep anything from your doctor, im conserened more with the lumps in your bell, under your arms and your joint pain. im not a doctor, i work in a hospital in ny, with children who have cancer. and what your describing sounds like it could me a condition called leukimia. it could not be as well but when you go to he doctor dont hide anything you dont want to be any worse off then you all ready are. i hope that all goes well for you and that i am completly wrong and that there is a simple and easy fix for your problems. but if not it will be ok, there are a wide verity of treatments that are out there and as scary as things sound it will be ok. i hope that i have helped a little and if you need too you can contact me to talk some more. khayneratyahoocom

No, don't think that you are overacting. This is something that definitely needs to be checked out by your doctor, but the important thing is that you do tell him everything - even down to the joint pains in your leg so that he has all the information that he needs to make an accurate diagnosis. Don't be embarrased at all, because its what they do. In the meantime, try not to worry, because sometimes things have the simplest explanation or causes. Good luck on Wednesday. :o)

They say over 90% of the things we worry about never happen. The lumps could be from many things like swollen lymph nodes from an infection. I'm glad you're going to the doctor so that you can have peace of mind, and get proper treatment. Don't worry.

Try not to worry until the doctor confirms it,make sure you tell the GP everything...even if it is something that might not be related..better 2 make your mind at ease!! I'm thinking if its hurting it shouldn't be cancer, speaking from experience! Just extra breast tissue! I know its easy to say don't worry but honestly try not to! Even speak to someone you trust...it might make you feel better! Oh and take someone along for moral support!

you have done the right thing telling the matron and getting docs appointment until then try not to worry if it was serious the matron would have you at the hospital. i knw our minds do over drive but trust me the doctor will be able to tell you exactly what it is or isnt. Until then try to relax and i knw its hard but not think about it. Good Luck at docs.

Tell your doctor about everything you are worried about its what they are there for and they understand if you are worried and its always best to get it checked out, to take your mind off it if nothing else, i once got sent to doctors by my work as in there words i looked like i was going to die, i only had red rings round my eyes and told doctor straight that i was made to go by work and he didnt mind just said best to get things checked out if unsure. Good luck too.
