People kill people. Religion is merely an idea and can no more kill anyone than the idea of gravity kills anyone.

Very few soldiers fighting against Islamic terrorists are Christians. Almost all the terrorists are practicing Muslims (but many fellow Muslims insist they are violating the religion). This might be news to you. Think about it, please, and you might be less inclined to post sweeping generalisations.

We're not at war over religion. We also have Muslim American soldiers, as well as Jewish, Atheist, Wiccan etc This is not a war about God, therefore the deaths cannot be blamed on religion. As for preventing deaths - that's not what religion is for anyways.

Religion is the biggest Killer in all wars. It has been for thousands of years. It will also be the destruction of our race if we are not careful. However, the big question will be answered in the future, and then all wars will stop. Then religions will cease to exist. One universal belief system will bring peace to this world. And then we will turn around and look at each other and say, "Oops my Bad!"

Ironically, religion has been the reason for many wars. Does not mean religion is bad, just some of the members who use it as an excuse.

Flawed question in my opinion. The Brits and the U.S. are not in this conflict as "Christians" with God on their side. This conflict is about two democratic governments taking on islamofascist terrorists.
