Shouldn't the words of Christ "What you do to the least of you, you do to me" govern our thoughts and opinions about the poor and suffering trying to make a living in the US?

"So-called Christians"?? FYI these undocumented workers are predominately catholic, so they are Christan's too...

Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's....

Do unto others as you would have others do unto you...

Thou shallt not bear false witness....

Thou shallt not steal, vandalize, false documents / duplicate SS#, fake welfare, fake medical, skip out on rent, skip out on bills....

Instead the western union money orders of $$$ back to mexico which does not help the U.S. economy!!

The words of Christ, "What you do to the least of these, you do to me."

You are taking the Lord's word's and applying them way out of context.....

Where we live has become "little mexico"....we live with trash, vandalized vechicals, theft of property, gangs, drugs..

The employment here has dropped the wages in half and you can't get a job if you are not bi-lingual...and if you do get a job you are cleaning up and fixing everything behind them because they screwed it up...

They refuse to learn english.....or manners...

A roach coach every 50 feet or an ice cream truck every 30 min...

They converge on the food bank and take everything, which is then found later in the day in the dumpster!!!

They treat the locals who have lived here forever like dirt...

Dirty pampers all over the parking lot....small boys wizzing into the bushes outside!!!

You can't rent or buy a decent place to live because 15 of them have destroyed the property....6 stolen chopped vechicals parked on the lawn or abandoned....

You can't purchase anything in the stores that isn't latino....

They have no concept of traffic laws and will park or drive where ever...

Gangs and children destroy anything and everything just because....they will rip apart a small tree just for fun....this town is losing trees!!

Children running through the stores, ripping open packaging...

The schools are so over crowded, the teachers must deal with a language problem, gang problem...the regular town kids are scared and many are now home schooled....

The welfare office can't help those who need help, those who need food stamps or medical can't get help....

The teen age girls dressed like baby hookers and with welfare babies, the boys are gang bangers and drug dealers....

Criminals stealing, raping, murdering....

My thoughts and opinions about the POOR AND SUFFERING AMERICAN TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING IN THE U.S. AFTER WE HAVE BEEN INVADED BY MEXICO!!

They need to go back to their own country and repair it...

I hired a few just last Sunday to help me pour some concrete. They were standing out front of Home Depot. I even forgave them for stealing my truck from the same location years ago. But, then, I'm not a christian, I really do try to walk the walk. Some people tell me it's unethical to hire these people, but, they work harder and for less money. I'm unethical for trying to save a few hundred bucks, but, taking illegal campaign contributions from wealthy land developers, creating a bogus war over oil, continuing a 'war' against drugs that is wasting money and lives for no good reason is morally acceptable? This world's too jacked up for me to feel guilty about hiring a few undocumented workers. Besides, I think they might just make up the majority here in L.A.

If workers are undocumented, then how easy is it for them to be mistreated? For their sake they should be documented and we should know who is where. Think of it this way: if a woman is in some eerie neighborhood and none of her friends or family knows she is there, how easy would it be for someone to mistreat her? Very easy. But if she has contacts and people know where she is, it will be much, much harder for anything shady to happen. In the same way an employer may only pay an undocumented worker like five bucks an hour, and they also will not contribute into things like social security or income tax, so they are mistreated and the government also is shortchanged.

The term is ILLEGAL immigrants. If these people are here illegally, they are breaking the law.
The poor and suffering trying to make a living here might do better to become LEGAL. They would then be eligible for the help that they really need and would be better off than they are now.

The term is ILLEGAL aliens.

""What you do to the least of you, you do to me" govern our thoughts and opinions about the poor and suffering trying to make a living in the US?"

I have no problem if the legal process is followed.

something would nicely be bastardized via taking it to the extreme. The Bible by no potential proposes to help human beings destroy the regulation. this is too basic to drag Bible fees out of context and throw them around. vast deal, you have stumbled on a Bible quote to coach around on Christians. and stop employing words and words that haven't any actual meaning, different than in a socialist society. they do no longer seem to be "undocumented workers". they're regulation breakers. in case you do no longer strategies unlawful extraterrestrial beings breaking the regulation, supposedly to feed their hungry little families, then you incredibly won't strategies if I sneak into your place and take all your stuff to feed my hungry little kin. purely call me an "unauthorized borrower".

Jesus also said "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's"...i have no problem whatsoever for the "poor, the tired, the hungry" to come here and try to make a better life, but i would appreciate it if they took the proper channels so they can pay taxes like i do.

Yes, I am for protecting those poor people. Many of them can not go back to their countries.

These poor people come to us because they have no other choice.

What if your family had no home, and your baby sister didn't have any clothes and was walking around dirty.

Surely when Jesus comes that will all end.
