I have been teased to death by this one woman, and I keep having people tell me that she is doing it to make her feel "powerful" is all.
PLEASE what does this mean??
Does it mean it makes her feel like she is the most wanted , fairest beauty of them all or what?
why?
why do they feel so much need for this to mess with someone elses head?

She's teasing you because you keep giving her unwarranted attention. Somewhere down the line you've given her the impression that she is your world and has figured you out. Because she's figured you out before getting to know you, she no longer has any interest in getting to know you beyond friend/filling her attention whore needs. You've definitely overvalued this woman and allowed this woman to tease you to death and jerk you around. Man, all women can attempt to tease you, but its up to you to habitually allow this behavior from women. Women can only tease you as much as you allow them to. Quit allowing her to tease you and guess what? She can't tease you!!! Next time, keep at least two or three women on your roledex (sp?) that you're talking to at the same time that you're trying to hook up with that one chick. That way if she falls through, you got 2 or 3 other girls to fall back on as backups.

Women like to feel 'wanted' and attention is what makes us feel that way. Yeah we can go about it the wrong way, but sometimes this is the only way we get attention from guys. Jelousy, anger, sometimes abuse. In our head its almost as if this little voice is saying 'as long as he says 'how high' when you say jump, you have him just where you want him'.
Perhaps without being a doormat, the only way that you could solve this issue is to give her attention, without her asking for it. Take her out for a meal, compliment her, let her know you care. If the 'games' continue, let her know that you see through them and your not a puppet on a string. She should realise her wrongs as soon as you stand your ground.

Guy - dont overcomplicate this, you have worked it out... in a word
*** POWER ***
She wants to have some power, some leverage, some card she can play over you to make her subserviant to you, she wants you to beg (and it appears to be working - guy, she's got you on her line).
Usually this is done by the girl in substitute for some good ol fashioned personality and true substance of character.
Best you can hope for is that you'll score a date, good chancce you'll make a dick out of yourself, then she'll have you on the end of a string, only to chew you up and spit you out.... sound like fun?
A true "Women" will have a little more respect for your feelings.

I've learnt about girls like this the hard way and my advice to you is find a decent girl, these sort of heartbreaking monsters are more often than not emotionally immature and only really care about themselves and love the attention that they get and use nice guys for ego boosts.
the best advice i can give you is look for a more mature 'women' not a ditzy girl.
