Hi,
For example, we have June Whitfield telling us to put a few quid away to look after funerals etc.
OK for her, she is a multi-millionare.
There are many more, and I am a bit fed up with very rich people in show-bizz advising us what do do with our relatively small capital.

Any thoughts ?

Bob

I don't know but its quite depressing, and another thing, If i'm on my way to the boneyard I doubt a poncely little clock radio or cratridge pen is going to be of much consolation.

Not really. They just want to scam you out of some money. Alternatively they actually want to give your family a better life perhaps?

John Stalker used to advertise awnings for the garden, I could never understand that. "Do you shoot to kill? Have a shot at one of our awnings," sort of thing.

Because they PAID her to do it ...

(honestly, you don't believe the 'rich and famous' actually BELIEVE any of the twaddle they are paid to push ? ,... next thing you will be suggesting they actually use the products :-) ...)

Their careers have died, so they speak from experience.
