I really like this guy he is everything my ex was not .Ambitous,understanding sympathetic.He has his life together and he thinks woman should be respected not neglected.The thing is him and my ex use to be Best friends that is until he went away.Should I wait till he comes back and confess how I feel or just leave it at a friendship even if I am longing for him.

sounds messy and could get really awkward.But if your still keen,i say go for it,just be aware of the potential out comes.Actually id talk to the new guy in confidence and see what he thinks before you let the cat out of the bag

If they no longer have the friendship that they did have, then he is open for you to pursue him. Go for it! If the two of you have been split for a while, and he is no longer best friends with this man, then there is not much of a problem with it. It may cause a stir at first, but it will die down. It isn't the absolute best thing that you could do, but it is ok. Go for it if it will make you happy. If you can find happiness, take it. There are too many people who never find happiness in their lives...so do what makes you happy and do not worry about your ex.

If he feels the same way I think you should go for it. Your ex might have his pride alittle injured but he will get over it. Don't you deserve some happiness too? Has he moved on?
