First, let's clear up that this is generally said of Witches, of which Wiccans are only one type.
As to the dancing naked in the woods, some may, many do not.
I'll tell you THIS for free - it would take a far hardier person than I to danced naked in the woods during cold weather or mosquito season.

There are actually not a lot of woods around anymore where one can be reasonably sure there is no one else around who might stumble upon them. For this reason I (pagan Taoist) would probably never actually do it, although it sure sounds like fun.

Yes. I was once a Wiccan. I still do, though alone, under a full autumn moon. The scent of the woods and the heath is divine, the light is delicious, and the freedom to be able to be just me, alone, in nature, is priceless and the closest thing I get to religion.

I am a Wiccan and yes i have been known to dance naked in the woods or just in my back yard under the moonlight!
But thats ME....not all Wiccans.
~Sex in the woods? ~ Perhaps if the mood struck me and Hubby while on a camping trip~ But that has nothing to do with Wicca!

So streotypical. you rather shouldn't attempt to cram all Wiccans into one class. Dancing contained in the woods bare isn't a call for to be pagan, and that i'm totally grateful for that. not in common terms am I uncomfortable with being skyclad, yet in the process the iciness you will freeze your buns off in case you went outdoors bare, regardless of a fireplace.

I keep hearing the lurid tales, but in ten years of being a Pagan, I've yet to see it.
May not help that I'm in the Northeast, where dancing in the woods is likely to either net you a bad case of frostbite in delicate places, or an assault on those aforementioned parts by legions of mosquitoes and deer ticks.

Some wiccans work skyclad, which is in the nude, they feel that clothing impedes their power, and yes some do ritual outdoors.
For the most part its difficult to find a place outdoors to do ritual unless you own land or have a nice private backyard, and mosquitoes are hell!
Most wiccans wear robes and do ritual indoors.

LOL I have never met one who does, but some do believe in practiceing sky clad, ie in the nude, as a way to connect oragancally with the world around them. It's in no way sexual. Beleive it or not, it's not ALL ABOUT SEX. Why some Christians are obsessed with that I will never know.
No GUYS are obesses with sex. Atheist Christian or Pagan. Let's be fair :P LOL

King David used to dance naked before The LORD and in full view of a lot of his slave girls...!!! He even promised that the next time he was going to outperform himself... He obviously loved to dance naked before the slave girls that he owned!!! There is so much more that can be studied about King David's sexcapades... "a man after God's own heart..."
