will they just put a judgment against my properity ? what about the interest?

Yes, and yes they will continue to pile on interest. Wage garnishment - In Texas, wage garnishment is allowed only for collection of taxes or penalties owed to the Internal Revenue Service or for child support. Out-of-state collection agencies may not recognize this limitation on their collection options. Do not sign documents to agree to wage garnishment.

The creditor will get a judgment, and then can seek to garnish your wages.

If you show up often there's mediation where you can set up some sort of payment plan.
