They see the world as totally black and white-they can't see the grey areas like we can.So while we can say "They don't believe what I do-their choice and not my business." the fundamentalist Christians say "They don't believe what we do-they so they must be evil and worship Satan."

I have often wondered the same. The Devil is a Christian concept, whereas Paganism is a completely different religion. It would be like Christians saying that Muslims or Jews or Native Americans are Devil worshippers.
Paganism is nothing to do with what Christians call 'evil', there is nothing nasty about Paganism, it about the worship of Mother Earth and being thankful to the Earth for all it provides.

They are absolutist religionists. Thats why.
Read their book(s), you'll soon find out. They are instructed to think like that. Pagans also revere nature, where Christianity instructs to 'subdue' nature. Knowledge of nature was considered akin the devil in the dark ages. Herbalists were murdered. This was part of the conversion process from paganism to Christianity.
It doesn't help that they stole Pan for their pics of 'Satan'.
Although, it si fair to ask out of interest why they still use paganism in their religion...
Christians:
Easter
Sheela na Gigs
Yuletide
Shrines
Saints/polytheism
Muslims:
Lunar calendar
animism/customs

because they have an attitude that if you are not with us you are against us. They know an awful lot more about Satanism than Pagans do. Just go on any fundi web site they are full of the most bizarre rubbish. You just have to laugh. If you want to know how to be a satanist just ask a fundamentalist Christian.

I am quite happy to accept the difference between pagans and satanists. Satanists worship Lucifer as Christians worship Christ. Pagans worship the old gods.

Don't' bother. They have a "If you aren't with us you must be against us" mentality. Not all of them obviously. But the ones who choose to remain WILLFULLY ignorant do nothing but hurt themselves and the image of their faith.
By their fruits you will know them.
For the record most SATANIST don't believe in the devil either. They are atheistic in philosophy. I haven't met one yet I haven't adored.

Actually, paganism is a trick from the devil... The devil has religions that appear to be different than what they really are. Notice how Buddism (one idea being the supposed ability to create your own reality) has some of the same components as the left-hand path and satanism (another religion with the idea being the supposed ability to create your own reality)... The devil does stuff to get people to fall for the wrong things, other than just the obvious satanism.
Don't fall for it. You definitely need to turn to Jesus Christ.

Oh, you know you are! You sneaky little pagan. (I hope I made you laugh)
It all comes down to fear. Its a great control mechanism. If you watch fundamentalist televangelists they put out more garbage than the average landfill.

Because people are ignorant. Think back to the medieval times, they burnt people they thought were witches, in the same metaphoric way, they burn pagans because they no too little to understand it
