Nikon SLR D40 or D40x?

Does D40X worth the extra 100 (no lens) or 150 with lens over D40? Is the picture quality better in d40x? should i get d40 instead so can get better lens for the cost difference?

Buy the D40x. 10mp instead of 6mp plus a lower ISO of 100.

Auto Focus with both models requires either Nikon AF-S or AF-I lenses since there is no AF drive motor in the body.

Since you're reviewing cameras, unless you have a bag full of Nikon lenses, you may as well look at the Pentax K10D. 10mp, AF drive motor and Image Stabilization in the body.
