Yes it will work however its a steep price.

Ticks the right boxes, 2.5inch SATA, so you should be good to go.
Remember to back up what you need before you start tinkering.

any 2.5 in laptop harddrive is compatible with the ps3 trust me i got it off of cnet

sony, will release some oxternal or other types of hard drive expansions later, but for now if u go to fry's electronics they have one for ps3, 160 gb thats what i heard
